May Currently

Holy, cow!  It's May already.  I have been waiting for summer to roll around and it's quickly approaching.  It amazes me every year how fast the school year flies by.  I'm linking up with the wonderful Farley from Oh, Boy 4th Grade for this month's Currently.

Listening:
I have to have music on when I grade papers.  I'm weird like that, but I have to have something going through my brain.  I am currently listening to the Miranda Lambert station on Pandora Radio.  This country gal loves her some Miranda Lambert.

Loving:
I'm loving being a teacher.  I love this time of year because not only for the obvious reason that I get summers off, that's definitely a plus, but I see how much my smarties have learned and grew this year. We always have such fun things to do at the end of the year. It's always a bittersweet time of the year.  I'm SO ready for summer, but it's bittersweet that these little kiddos will be in the hands of another fantastic teacher next year.

Thinking:
Summer is definitely all that's on my mind right now.  I'm ready to spend time with Brayden and my family. I can't wait.

Wanting:
I've said this before, but I am wanting to try Insanity.  I just cannot for the life of  my find time to exercise.  Between my family, work, blogging, and TpT, I just cannot find the time.  So many people find time.  How do y'all balance everything?

Needing:
I'm in desperate need of a good night's sleep.  Brayden woke up sick the night before last.  Last night, my husband was just a snoring away.  Oh, sleep how I miss you!

Summer Bucket List:

First, a disclaimer. Before I had Brayden, I was not in the best physical shape.  However, I could still wear a bikini and feel sorta confident.  After having, Brayden that's a big ol' negative.

So,  I want to wear a bikini.  I want to feel confident again.  This is where exercising comes in to play.  I've gotta make myself do it!

BEACH!  I can't wait to go back to the beach.  My family and I went over spring break and it was just cold and rainy. Brayden hated the sand.  So, we've gotta try it again.

I hope everyone is having a great week!

Lots of love,

  1. I am with you with the beach visit. We had a death in our family so we weren't able to go on vacation for spring break. I am so in need of a good week of relaxation! I'm sure your son will enjoy the beach next time!! Here's to a great end of the school year and an even better summer.
