Two Back to School Packets...Yes, I'm already planning my first week of school!

Hello, Friends!

I'm here again...thinking about school.  What's wrong with me!?!? I know that I'm not the only one.  My wishlist is getting awfully full from all sorts of FANTASTIC things I've been seeing floating around on Pinterest and Teachers Pay Teachers.

Anyway...I was thinking about what types of activities that I wanted to do the first week of school.  I know I want some fun things, but I also want to assess what they learned in 1st grade at the same time.  Glad I have the summer to figure all that out! :-) If you have any suggestions, let me know.  I'd love some new ideas!!!

I created two packets that I can't wait for my new kiddos to use in August.  My students loved reading and writing around the room.  Another thing that they loved was unscrambling some sentences.  So, here's what I came up with! You can click on the pictures to take a look at them in my TpT store.

I will give away both of these packets to the person who can answer this question first.
I spend a great deal of time watching the Disney Channel.  I don't mind.  I've always loved Walt Disney.

What's my favorite Disney movie?

Good luck! I hope you have a FANTASTIC day! :-)

  9. I was going to say Little Mermaid too b/c it's mine as well. When my 19 year was a little girl, she would play "Little Mermaid" in the pool. She was Arielle, I was King Tritan, and her dad was Ursula lol! I'm glad you, Mrs. Johnson and I have the same taste. Happy Summer!

    1. That's wonderful! We do have good taste! ;-) I always said that I was going to marry Prince Eric. I married my high school sweetheart and his name is Eric. Funny coincidence. :-)

  10. I probably watched it 100s of times! When I was little, my mom let me name our dog Ariel after the movie! I used to "play" The Little Mermaid with my friends all the time! Jeannie, that is a funny coincidence you married an Eric! :)
