Today, I am linking up with Halle from Across the Hall in 2nd Grade. She has an adorable linky called "These are a Few of My Favorite Things". Love it! This week's theme is about our pool or beach favorites. I'm definitely more of a beach gal. I just wish that I could go more often. We will be going sometime this summer. We just haven't set a date yet. I can't wait.
So...here are a few of my favorite items to bring to the beach!
The beach becomes a whole different world when you have kids. It wouldn't be as fun without bringing my little munchkin!
I have a kid, remember? We need a pail and shovel. But, what adult doesn't like to help a little one build a sandcastle?
We need our iPad to keep the little one from getting bored. It was a lifesaver when we went to the beach over spring break. Inside a house on a rainy day...the iPad was definitely needed!
I use my iPhone for EVERYTHING. It is my camera, my music, and my books. Can't leave home without it!
I'm a country gal and where flipflops all the time. The beach is no exception!
I love to snack. When I'm somewhere other than home, I have to make sure that I bring me (and the family) some snacks.
I'm stilling looking for a cute beach bag. A beach bag is needed to bring everything we need with us. Sunblock, towels, change of clothes, etc. A beach bag is important!
I'm said before that my eyes are very sensitive to the sun. I have to have my sunglasses at the beach, or I can't see. Really, I'll squint and have to use my hand to shield my eyes. It's crazy, so sunglasses are needed.
