I'm Back!

Hello, friends!

I feel like I haven't blogged in FOREVER! I told y'all that we were going to the beach for Spring Break.  I LOVED the vacation, but the beach weather was COLD.  I was not a happy camper.  I've said before that I hate the cold.  I go to the beach where it's suppose to be warm and sunny and what do I see, rain and cold.

Here's a few pictures from our trip.

Brayden HATED the beach.  He has shoes on in this picture because he did not like the sand touching his feet.  Too bad it was too cold to try again.  Hopefully, we'll go again this summer and he'll learn to love the beach.

Look what I bought Brayden.  Crocs that change color.  LOVE them!

We played putt putt. No fun with a one year old.  He didn't understand that we had to keep going to another hole.  He cried and cried!

I mentioned it was cold right???

So, we returned Sunday and guess what happened on Monday?  Brayden got sick.  So, I've got to stay an extra two days at home with a sick little boy.

So...that means I finally got to finish a new packet that I've been working on FOREVER.  My students are learning time this week.  I'm so excited to let them use my new superhero themed matching game.  They're gonna love it.

Since I feel like I've been gone from by bloggy friends for so long, I'm going to give my packet away to 3 people.  All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me what you did or are planning to do for Spring Break. I'll randomly choose 3 winners tomorrow around 9:00.

Lots of love,

  7. It was also cold here in NC for spring break. No beach house for me! I am recovering from foot/ankle surgery at my parents' house so I have someone to look after me. (I am a widow. Thank God for my parents!! My Dad is 88 and is looking after me and my Mom.)

  8. I went to Charleston, South Carolina for my Spring Break. We never went to the beach because it was too cool. I don't like the beach when it is windy and cool temperatures. I would love to win your time unit.

  9. Love the Pictures!
My Spring Break is over. I did enjoy my break. I borrowed my bother's children for a few days. Of course the teacher in me took them to the Library and we checked out 40+ books on princesses, fairies, stars wars and legos so we could read. Amazingly, we read about every book. Also went to a hands on children's museum where it was okay for me to be a "kid". The other days I read and did some school things.
I hope you are enjoying yours.

  10. My Spring Break is over. Could not do anything because public school (me) was off the week before Easter (had to return on Monday) and Catholic Schools (my daughter) were off the week after Easter. Why can't they get it together? had egg hunt with my 9 and 2 year old and my parents came to visit. hcarpenter@ebrschools.org

  11. This spring break my husband I celebrated 11 years of being married. We travelled to Turks and Cacios and Grand Turk. It was so hot and windy everyday. A time to relax and read mindless books.

Thanks for the chance to win! Happy to follow you.
