Hello, dear friends!
Just kidding...you don't have cooties!
My kids LOVE playing with those cootie catcher/fortune teller things, so I made one to help us review the place value unit I taught a few weeks ago. If my students finish their independent math center early, they usually get flash cards. I thought, I should make one of those cootie catcher things for early finishers. They'd love that. SO...I did! Click the picture below to purchase the Place Value Cootie Catcher. I'd love to make some more of these, if anyone is interested. The first person to comment and let me know if you'd like me to make one for another topic gets a copy of the Place Value Cootie Catcher for free. I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL day! :-)

OOPS! and a New Blog
Hi, friends!
I hope everyone had a wonderful MONDAY! It definitely felt like a Monday. My munchkin' had to go get a check up today and he had to have his iron checked. I hate when they make him cry. I cry every time. :-( He was pitiful!! Since he's busy napping from his rough visit at the doctor's office, I thought I'd share what I've been up to. I had a couple of request to make an OOPS game for other grade levels. I made one for popcorn words (words that keep "popping up" when the kiddos read) and one with 1st grade word wall words. My kiddos have been playing OOPS as one of their choice centers in my literacy stations. They love it. I can hear them saying "OOPS and then "AW MAN" and "Not Again". I love listening to them interact with each other when they are playing games. Such fun! Click on the picture below to go to my TPT store.
Also, I have teamed up with some AWESOME bloggers on a collaborator blog called Tips for Top Teachers: A Smorgasboard of Teaching Resources. You need to go check it out. Such a talented group of teachers. Imagine all the fun and creative ideas you'lll get from just one blog! Click the button below to go check it out! I just posted a main idea freebie!

Place Value Review and a Freebie
Hello, friends!
I've been super busy this weekend working on review games for my class next week. We are taking our place value test on Wednesday. I created a Place Value 'I Have...Who Has' game to review. My kiddos LOVE games and so do I. We haven't played 'I Have...Who Has' yet in my room, so I'm excited to see how they do. My students last year loved to race to see if they could beat their time. I hope your students enjoy the game. Let me know how your students use 'I Have...Who Has' in your classroom. I'd love to hear from yall! Click on the picture to go to my TPT store.

Oh, How I Love Sweet Treats
I made a working with words activity packet centered around sweet treats. With Halloween coming up, I was trying to brainstorm ideas of things to do that aren't strickly Halloween related as some people can't use that type of material in their classrooms. So, I decided on candy. Who doesn't love sweet treats? This packet comes with 2 how many words can you make activities, a short/long vowel sort, a picture/word match-up, 3 ways to write spelling words (funky, rainbow, different supplies), and an OOPS game centered around 2nd grade word wall words. Click on the picture to go to my TPT store to see my Working with Words is Sweet Fun packet.
I also added just the OOPS game to my store for those of you intersted in the game but not the whole packet. Click on the picture to go to my TPT store to see my OOPS game for 2nd grade word wall words.
I was thinking of making an OOPS game for other grade levels. Would anyone be interested in an OOPS game using their spelling words/word wall words? Just let me know and I'll get to work. I am still working on my Halloween Math and Literacy Packet. I have a super sweet munchkin' who has learned that he can pull up on stuff. So, I'm having to keep an extra eye on him now. We are getting so many bumps and bruises now. :-( I'm hoping to have it finished toward the middle of this week.
Don't forget to enter my giveaway from the Product Swap. The winner gets to choose 2 items from my store. It ends tonight....so click here to enter now!
