I'm Jeannie and the blogger behind Teaching is Full of Surprises. I was born and raised in the upstate of South Carolina. I have two sons, 6 and 3, who keep me really busy! I love being a boy mom.
I've been teaching for 10 years. I have taught 5th grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. I am currently teaching 3rd grade!

I married my high school sweetheart in 2009.
Being a #boymom suits me just fine! Bring on all the sports I can get!
I am a lover of all sports. Football is my favorite. I am a HUGE fan of the Clemson Tigers.

I HATE cheese. (Except on pizza)
I'm a very picky eater, but I am slowly working on getting better.
I don't like for my food to touch.
I'm a huge Disney fan.
I've never left the South.
